Many people are now getting fake text messages that look like they are from the Swedish Transport Agency. For example, the message may say that you must pay a traffic fine or that your vehicle has been registered by ”roadside enforcement equipment”. These messages are fake and are not from the Swedish Transport Agency.

The Swedish Transport Agency will never send you a text message or email asking you to pay money or give us your bank or payment details.

Do not click on any links. Do not pay any money. Do not share your bank or payment details.
