Dangerous goods training
Competent personnel are essential for the safe and efficient handling of dangerous goods for air transport. The employer is responsible for ensuring that personnel are trained in accordance with a competency-based model and assessment.
An approval from Swedish Transport Agency of dangerous goods by air training programmes in accordance with ICAO Technical Instructions is not required for other entities than air operators and designated postal operators, Sweden has no additional national regulation in this area.
However, dangerous goods by air training programmes for those other entities must meet the applicable regulatory requirements and may be target for inspection. Please find statement regarding this below:
