Traffic rights for airlines designated by Sweden

Points in Sweden via intermediate points to a point or points in New Zealand and to points beyond. 

Subject to the legal obligations of each Contracting Party, the designated airlines of each Contracting Party may serve intermediate and/or beyond points with fifth freedom traffic rights. 

Any designated airline may enter into co-operative arrangements, including but not limited to code-sharing arrangements, with any other airline, including airlines of third countries, which has the appropriate traffic rights and operating authorizations for the co-operative arrangement in question.

New Zealand has concluded a horizontal air service agreement with EU

EU’s horizontal agreement aims at bringing all Member States bilateral agreements with New Zealand to be in line with certain EU provisions. This means that some of the articles in the bilateral agreement between Sweden and New Zealand no longer applies, since they are replaced by the provisions in the horizontal agreement.
