Fees and charges

Type approval

A fixed fee of 3,400 SEK and a running fee of 1,700 SEK per hour will be charged for the examination of applications for type approvals and changes to type approvals of vehicles, systems, components or separate technical units. 

For any other processing related to type approval, a running fee of 1,700 SEK will be charged.

Conformity of Production activities

A running fee of 1700 SEK per hour will be charged for initial assessment activities.

A running fee of 1700 SEK per hour will be charged for activities related to production conformity.

In-Service activities

In addition to examination costs, we charge an ongoing fee of SEK 1,700 per hour for administrative work.

Technical Service

A fixed fee of 3,400 SEK and a running fee of 1,700 SEK per hour will be charged for examinations of applications to be designated or re-designated as a technical service.

Once designated, a technical service shall pay an annual fee of 10,500 SEK for administrative handling related to its authorization.

A running fee of 1,700 SEK per hour will be charged for the monitoring of a technical service.

EU individual vehicle approval

A running fee of 1,700 SEK per hour will be charged for the examination of applications for EU individual approval (EU IVA).
