Code Share
Code share is an arrangement between air carriers under which an air carrier places its designator code on a flight operated by another air carrier.
This allows air operators to cooperate with other air operators in order to extend their network and market themselves on routes they do not fly themselves.
Swedish air operators or EU air operators cooperating with non-EU air operators should apply for a permit from the Swedish Transport Agency. A permit is also needed in order to cooperate with EU air operators operating in a third country, and for third country operators cooperating with EU air operators with regard to traffic to and from Sweden.
