From 1 January 2021, EU-operators who wish to perform commercial air services, scheduled or non-scheduled, to the UK from Sweden or vice versa will need to have a traffic permit from the Swedish Transport Agency and from the British Civil Aviation Agency.

From 1 January 2021, operators from UK will be regarded as third country operators from an EU perspective, including Sweden. Third country operators need traffic permits for their operations to and from Sweden. This applies to both scheduled and non-scheduled traffic.
