The information shall be transmitted electronically to the reporting system of the Swedish Maritime Administration, the so called SafeSeaNet Sweden (SSNS) through

• web application
• XML interface or
• EDIFACT interface

If it’s not possible to report to SSNS due to technical reasons of the SSNS-system, the Customer Support of the Swedish Maritime Administration shall be contacted to give alternative ways of how the notifications may be done.

Fault and failures on own technical systems and connections are not valid reasons for not reporting. Always contact the Customer Support of the Swedish Maritime Administration to inform of any faults that may occur.
