Each passage into or out of Gothenburg will cost SEK 8, 13, or 18, depending on the time of day; see the table below. The maximum amount per day and vehicle will be SEK 60.

Congestion tax will be charged on Swedish-registered vehicles that are driven into or out of central Gothenburg, Mondays to Fridays between 06.00 and 18.29. The tax will not be charged on Saturdays, weekends or public holidays, on a day preceding a public holiday or during the month of July. Some vehicles are exempt from congestion tax.
