Traffic rights for designated airline of Sweden

The designated airline of Sweden has the right to operate in both directions between points in Sweden via intermediate points to points in Brazil and to points beyond. Fifth freedom traffic rights may be exercised at any intermediate and/or beyond points.

Possibility to enter into commercial code-sharing arrangements also with a third Party.

Capacity regime

No specific limitations.

Brazil has concluded a horizontal air service agreement with EU

EU’s horizontal agreement aims at bringing all Member States bilateral agreements with Brazil to be in line with certain EU provisions. This means that some of the articles in the bilateral agreement between Sweden and Brazil no longer applies, since they are replaced by the provisions in the horizontal agreement.
