Third country instructors
1. Part-FCL.900(c) Instructor certificate application
To apply for Part-FCL.900(c) instructor certificate it shall be sent in accordance with the application procedure as described below. When the application is approved, the certificate will be issued with a 3 year validity period. An FCL.900 (c) instructor certificate applicant must meet all applicable requirements, this includes an instructor course and Assessment of Competence.
2. Credit given to former EASA instructor certificate held
The Swedish Transport Agency gives no credit to former EASA instructor certificate holders, e.g. former UK EASA instructor certificate holders.
3. Part-FCL.900(c) Instructor revalidation or renewal
Revalidation or renewal shall be in accordance with Part-FCL (form TSL7406).
Note
Please pay attention that all instruction must take place outside the territory of the Member States and no LIFUS training, as part of a Zero Flight Time Training, may take place in or over the member states.
4. Application process
When applying for a Part-FCL.900(c) enclose the following, in PDF, and submit to certifikat.w3d3@transportstyrelsen.se
Copy of third country license/certificate with the following information visible;
- Name
- License number
- Type of license (valid)
- Type or class rating (valid)
- Copy of Assessment of Competence by an EASA examiner (Form TSL7187 for SFI/TRI and TSL7571 for FI/IRI/CRI)
- Verification of privileges held by the Flight Crew Licence holder (e.g. SRG1160 for UK license holders)
- Applicant verification of compliance according to ARA.GEN.315 and AMC1 ARA.GEN.315(c)*

By ticking this box you certify that you:

do not hold any personnel licence, certificate, rating, authorisation or attestation with the same scope and in the same category issued in another Member State;
- has not applied for any personnel licence, certificate, rating, authorisation or attestation with the same scope and in the same category in another Member State; and
- has never held any personnel licence, certificate, rating, authorisation or attestation with the same scope and in the same category issued in another Member State which was revoked or suspended in any other Member State.
Incorrect information could disqualify you from being granted a personnel licence, certificate, rating, authorization or attestation.
Third country examiners
1. Part-FCL.1000(c) Examiner certificate application
To apply for a Part-FCL.1000(c) examiner certificate the application shall be sent in accordance with the application procedure as described below. When the application is approved, the certificate will be issued with a 3 year validity period after an Assessment of competence has been satisfactorily performed. Please note that an examiner course, held by the SCAA, will be required.
2. Credit given to former EASA examiner certificate held
No credit is given towards the requirements in FCL.1000 c for holders of a previous examiner certificate. However, in certain cases an online course with a tailored content can be offered for examiners with a former EASA examiner certificate.
3. Part-FCL.1000(c) Examiner revalidation or renewal
Revalidation or renewal shall be in accordance with Part-FCL.1025. For further details outlined by the SCAA, please see the Examiner's handbook version 10 3.6 Revalidation, renewal and extension. (Form BSL14368)

4. Application process
When applying for a Part-FCL.1000(c) enclose the following, in PDF, and submit to certifikat.w3d3@transportstyrelsen.se
Copy of third country license with the following information visible;
- Name
- License number
- Type of license(valid)
- Type or class rating(valid)
- Copy of Assessment of Competence
- Course completion certificate issued by the SCAA
- Verification of privileges held by the Flight Crew Licence holder (e.g. SRG1160 for UK license holders)
