Toll charges

Toll charges are used in many places around the world to finance new investments in infrastructure and in an endeavour to direct and restrict traffic in certain areas or on certain stretches of road.

In Sweden, direct charges have rarely achieved these aims, but they have become more relevant as an alternative over the past few years.
