Authorisation codes and registration numbers

Some of our vehicle services require you to identify yourself using an authorisation code and registration number.

What is an authorisation code?

The authorisation code (Behörighetskod) is shown on your registration certificate. The image below shows you where you can find your authorisation code.

Using your authorisation code and your registration number, you can:

  • apply for an off road notification and license your vehicle for use
  • order number plates
  • search for information about your own vehicle.
